Artist statement

I will be graduating from the MFA programme at Goldsmiths, University of London in Autumn 2026, where my recent research has focused on 20th-century abstraction. Over the past four years, my own practice has centred on abstract painting, following earlier work in mixed media.

I completed a BA (Hon’s) in Critical Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in the 1990s, where I also completed an MA in Contemporary Photography: Practices and Philosophies in 2021.

In 2019, I founded Tension, an artist-run gallery space in South East London, where I continue to serve as director and curator.

Short listed for the Clfford Chance Post Graduate Print Making In London 2021 Prize.

Short listed for the Cass art prize at Central Saint Martins 2021.
