Artist statement

I will be graduating from the MFA programme at Goldsmiths University London in Autumn 2026. My most recent area of research has concentrated on 20th century abstraction.  For the past 6 years with my own work I have concentrated on abstract painting, having previously worked with mixed media.

I completed my BA Hon’s in Critical Fine Art at Central St Martins in the 1990’s where I also completed a Masters in Contemporary Photography Practices and Philosophies in 2021.

I founded Tension an artist run gallery space in South East London in 2019, where I am director and curator.
